Electrical Engineering Internship | Summer 2025

Ommo is the pioneer of permanent magnet-based 3D tracking technology, providing ultra-precise 6DOF tracking for tiny sensors in real-time, at up to 1,000 times per second. We track the position and orientation with up to 0.1mm in precision of tiny sensors that are less than 1mm in size. Serving as a localized GPS for surgical navigation systems, our technology will eventually be used for a variety of digital transformation use cases, including virtual training, robotics, and human-machine interfaces

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of PCB Design & Layout 

• Knowledge in Hardware debugging & testing, including EMI/EMC

• Knowledge in designing & maintaining electronic aspects of test fixtures

• Collaborate with the software & product teams to ensure end-to-end product conformance and functionality

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS or MS in computer engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or related fields.

• Strong knowledge of circuits and electrical systems

• Understanding of common software development processes and an ability to work closely with software engineers

• Creativity in problem-solving, ability to think out-of-box, and adapt quickly to new technical areas

• Excellent communication skill and ability to work in a team environment

• Willingness to take his/her own initiative and ask questions

• Proficiently in C programming 

• Proficiently in Python Experience
